Architecture Office Hours
90 Minutes. Your Hardest Problem.
Something's blocking your delivery — GenAI reliability, cloud platform architecture, Kubernetes complexity, a migration that's gone sideways. Bring the problem. I'll whiteboard a solution approach with your technical team. No charge — it's how I work out whether I can actually help.
How it works
Step 1: Pick your problem
The thing that's blocking your delivery. Could be GenAI reliability, cloud platform design, Kubernetes operations, a stalled migration, security compliance, cost management. Something specific — the vaguer the problem, the less useful the session.
Step 2: We get in a room
90 minutes with your technical leads. Whiteboard session, not a presentation. I ask questions, we sketch solutions, we pressure-test assumptions.
Step 3: You walk away with something useful
A concrete approach to your problem, whether or not we ever work together. If there's a fit for a deeper engagement, we'll both know it.
What I typically cover
Retrieval pipelines, hallucination reduction, agent design, guardrails, confidence scoring. When you need an agent, when you need a workflow, and when you need a search bar.
Vertex AI, SageMaker, AzureML, KubeFlow. Getting models out of notebooks and into production. The platform you actually need vs the one someone sold you.
VPC-SC, private endpoints, workload identity, data residency. The stuff that blocks production in banking, pharma, and government — and how to design for it from day one.
EKS, AKS, GKE — the stuff that actually hurts. Networking, upgrades, cost, multi-tenancy. When to build a platform and when to use managed services.
Why your bill tripled, where the waste is, and what to do about it. Architecture decisions that save money vs ones that just move it around.
KubeFlow to Vertex AI, ARM to Terraform, on-prem to cloud, post-merger tech consolidation. The planning that nobody does until it's already painful.
Why free?
Because I'd rather spend 90 minutes understanding your problem than trading emails about day rates. If I can help, it'll be obvious to both of us. If I can't, you've lost a morning and gained a second opinion.
Got a problem worth whiteboarding?
Pick a time that works. Come with a specific challenge — the harder the better.
